First filler post: Maple Bacon Doughnut Beer

I didn’t even know this stuff existed, but it’s apparently a collaboration between the Rogue beer company, and that doughnut company out in Portland that made the maple bacon donut I jizzed myself over after eating, Voodoo Doughnuts.  Despite my love for bacon, I’m very reluctant to dare try such an interesting beer, because frankly, I haven’t really liked many Rogue beers.

Arrogant Bastard Ale, Santa’s Private Reserve, Dead Guy, none of those beers really resonate well with me.  They tend to err on the side of way hopsy and bitter for my pallet.

In other things, I don’t know why I bothered to jump into the world of DSLR photography.  Between the five photo dumps over the last two weekends, I’ve got these boatloads of RAW images that are eating up space like fat people at the Old Country Buffet, and I’m at this balance of fine-tuning and getting tired and half-assing it.  I kind of feel like killing myself sometimes, at this rate.

But for what it’s worth, I am generally pleased with some of the results, regardless of how amateurish I am with it.  The versatility and adjustability of RAW images is occasionally fun, and doesn’t feel like I’m destroying an image like when I have to do some fine-tuning with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop.  Just about all of the photos that I’d upload are processed, and it’s for when I have more time in which I’ll proceed to upload and share them with the interested world.
